As a real estate agent, i see so many different styles of apartments all over nyc. One might say ive become bored after seeing the same cookie-cutter apartments over and over again. However, every now and then; i find a hidden gem like this apartment. This isnt just another apartment. This place is a piece of history. Built in 1931, it still has most of the original finishes throughout. From the gorgeous woodwork to the original fireplace mantles, this place has all the pre-war details you could ask for. You truly have to see this place in person to understand how beautiful this apartment is.
the apartment was just renovated and features a massive living room w/ windows facing manhattan ave, 3 bedrooms, a dining room, eat in kitchen, closets throughout the whole apartment, and bathroom with double sinks and soaking tub. The kitchen has all stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher.
the landlord spent the last 2 months installing split heating/cooling units in every room, new real hardwood floors throughout, adding a washer and dryer in the unit and building out a laundry room, painting, adding glass bath doors, new light fixtures through out and updating the kitchen with new countertops. Aaaaand there are not one, but two functioning fire places. In 15 years of doing real estate in greenpoint, i have never seen 2 functioning fire places in an apartment. It is usually a shock to see one! they are putting the final touches on the unit and installing the new washer/dryer this week. Everything will be ready for a november 1st start date!
location doesn't get any better than this in greenpoint! the apartment is located on manhattan ave between milton and noble street, just a block from the g train. This is the epicenter of the neighborhood where everyone wants to be!
if you love pre-war details and plenty of space in the heart of greenpoint, this is the one you have been looking for!
heat & hot water included!
pets are ok!
